Playing With Fire: Vitra Fire Station by Zaha Hadid-

Zaha Hadid designed the fire station at Vitra’s campus in Germany in 1993, making this year its 20th birthday. The fire station was built after a catastrophic fire wiped out most of the production site in 1981. The fire station was Hadid’s first realised building and the concrete structure was cast on site. The fire station is no longer used for its intended purpose and now functions as a space for exhibitions and events.
